Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when and how students can request a refund for sessions booked on Hvayate. By using the Service, you agree to this policy.

1. How payments work

Students pay for sessions in advance. Hvayate holds the funds securely and releases the payment to the teacher only after the session is successfully completed. A small platform commission is deducted from the teacher's payout.

2. When you are eligible for a refund

  • Session not delivered: If the teacher does not show up or the session cannot take place due to a fault on the teacher's side, the student receives a full refund.
  • Cancellation by teacher: If a teacher cancels a confirmed booking, the student is refunded in full.
  • Cancellation by student (more than 24 hours before the session): A full refund is issued.
  • Cancellation by student (less than 24 hours before the session): A partial refund may be issued at the platform's discretion.
  • Technical failure on Hvayate's side that prevents the live class from taking place: full refund.

3. When refunds are generally not provided

  • You attended the session but were unsatisfied with the teacher's style (please leave a rating and contact support — we may credit your account at our discretion).
  • You did not show up to the session without prior cancellation.
  • Your internet connection or device failed during the session and the teacher was available.

4. How to request a refund

Email support@hvayate.com with your booking reference and a brief description of the issue, ideally within 7 days of the session. Our team will review and respond within 3–5 business days.

5. How refunds are processed

Approved refunds are credited back to the original payment method. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take 5–10 business days for the amount to reflect.

6. Disputes

If you and a teacher disagree about whether a session was delivered as booked, Hvayate will review evidence from both sides (attendance logs, chat records, recordings where available) and make a final decision.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The latest version is always available on this page.
